Help advertise the walk in our community. Attend community events and pass out fliers to those in attendance

Writer
Responsible for writing invitational letters to identified guests. Writing letters requesting financial support or gifts-in-kind and follow-up either in person, telephone or e-mail. Write any documents/letters/e-mails that may be necessary during organization of the event. Write thank-you letters/e-mails to contributors. Must be detail oriented, possess excellent writing skills and be able to work independently.

Photographer/Videographer
Photograph and/or videotape all activities the day of the walk. Will form shifts if multiple people volunteer. Within seven days, copies of photos and/or videos must be provided to the Coordinators.

Set Up
Help off load and set up Walk material at the event site. Some heavy lifting.
Supervised teenagers, Report at 6:00AM

Start Line
Assist the Walk staff with getting the Walk started smoothly.

Water Stops
Help distribute water to participants. Clean up during and after Walk participants pass your area. Supervised pre-teens and teenagers.

Finish Line
Assist Walk Staff with a smooth finish to the Walk, to include cheering on walkers.

Volunteer Welcome Area
Direct volunteers to their assigned locations.

T-Shirt Area
Responsible for handing out shirts to Walk participants.

Medical Area
Direct injured participants to the correct medical care. (Nurse and Other Medical Professionals needed)

Course Marshalls
Direct walkers along the course.
